You can apply for your B1/B2 U.S. tourist visa by following these steps:
- Complete the DS-160 form
- Pay the visa application fee
- Book your appointment at a VAC (visa application center)
- Book your appointment at U.S embassy or consulate
- Attend your visa interviews
How to Pay the B1/B2 Visa Application Fee From India
Once you’ve created your profile and completed your application, you’ll need to pay the B1/B2 visa application fee (MRV fee). This payment is mandatory and non-refundable.
The cost of the visa fee is 185 USD. You can make the payment either by bank transfer or in cash at a designated bank.
The day after you pay the visa application fee, you can schedule your interview appointments in India.
